When I come to a wedding, I come with open heart, open arms and open attitude. And this wedding, oh, I could hug it all day long. From the start, when I arrived to the Charleston Marriot for getting ready part of the day, I knew this wedding was going to be relaxed, fun, and incredibly laid back. May brings unpredictable weather to West Virginia, so half of the day it was pouting down rain. Do you think the Bride, Katherine, was upset? I don't think it even crossed her mind. She was relaxed, excited and clearly having the time of her life (and so were her girls). The ceremony was quick, but charming, and Mike couldn't hold tears when he saw Katherine walking down the isle. Our portraits went incredible, and even the weather held off and it stopped raining exactly for the time we were doing the portraits. And then came the party! Oh, what a fantastic party it was and how much fun everybody head.
Dear Mike and Katherine, your wedding was absolutely perfect. Thank you so much for letting me document it and I can't wait to see what this life holds for you!
